The Greedy Wind
The greedy wind is back,
Robbing from those on the fringe.
Cutting deep devoid of care,
Stealing the lives of those without.
The cold blood of the sunrise,
Brings no comfort.
You must find a place,
Where the greedy wind can't find.
Its relentless taking,
Can cause madness.
Unless you can hide,
Or accept it's toll.
Under the pale sky,
I move on with my day.
Taking what warmth I can,
From the rhythm of my feet.
