The Stench

The Stench

In power suits, they stride with ease,
Their words are smooth, their smiles a breeze.
But behind the scenes, they make their deals,
And line their pockets through corruption.

They speak of justice, of equality too,
But their actions show a different view.
They serve the wealthy, the ones who pay,
And leave the common man broke.

Their lies are lavish, their truths hard to find,
They twist and turn, leaving us all behind.
In a world of chaos, they thrive in the dank,
And laugh at us, all the way to the grave.

So heed my warning, friend, don't be a chump,
Never trust a rich politician.
Don't leave your life's prosperity to chance,
Never trust a rich politician.
