I met 2 new people today

First, I met a man who was born and raised in Austin. He was marveling at how much the Mueller area has changed, and continues to change. It turns out that his dad retired from IBM and he started a small business that had IBM as a client. Small world.

The other guy was from Brazil. He married an American woman, and they live here, in Austin. He might have witnessed a Tesla getting keyed, because he was ranting about how crazy it was that so many Americans have a hatred for an American technology being made in America… I couldn't disagree with his logic… he was pretty cool, though. We spent some time talking food… he's working as a dishwasher right now. As soon as I mentioned that I had a brain injury, he crossed himself, and insisted on making sure I was safe getting home.

I walked just 3 miles today.
