I've written a country "song"

I got to the coffee shop just as they opened today. Sitting here, watching everyone get ready for the day, I realized that I was thinking about Charlie's Angels. It took a second to figure out why, but the three baristas working are all cool women, one blonde, one a redhead, and one a brunette… it amused me anyway…

So, at lunch the other day one friend I was with got a fortune that said, “It is better to have beans and bacon in peace than cakes and ale in fear.”

I said it sounded like a line in a country song. They ended up challenging me to turn it into one.
