Home

In the mountain's grasp, I wandered unbound,
Fresh air's embrace, a symphony, I found.
On distant cliffs, shadows danced afar,
Nature's artistry, my guiding star.

My sister, her boyfriend, a lens in his eye,
Chasing creatures, soaring the sky.
In this wild expanse, where life's untamed,
I pondered home, like a child unnamed.

In days of old, we roamed just as they,
'Midst forests and meadows, skies at bay.
What's the core of home, I dared to muse,
Mountain winds whispered as they'd choose.

To be without shelter, not mere four walls,
A place of safety, where spirit calls.
To find a home within one's own soul,
Belonging's essence makes us all whole.
