Old Friends

In San Diego's fringe, amidst rain's gentle patter,
I found solace and joy, in moments that matter.
Laughing with an old friend, coffee shops aglow,
Four days of memories, in the rain's tender flow.

A colorful blur, amid streets washed anew,
Each drop a reminder, of friendship so true.
Through the mist and the haze, our laughter did blend,
An oasis of warmth, in the rain's soft descend.

Bright rainy days, with skies painted gray,
Deep in our hearts, sunshine held sway.
For in each other's company, we found delight,
In the midst of the storm, our spirits took flight.

Old memories, and new thoughts we shared,
In San Diego's embrace, brotherly love bared.
Laughing through raindrops, with hearts intertwined,
Four days of bliss, in the rain's gentle grind.
